All about career in Animatoin in India & abroad

I am sharing some of the Possible options available for Indian students for a career in Animation.

Also, i seek some Suggestions to choose from these options for self.

I have completed 10+2 (HSC) & +3 Diploma in Computer Sci. I have a good command over few Computer Languages & Applications like C,CPP,JAVA,VB & .NET . So I can do well in Engineering as well, but my sole interest has been in Animation since long & so i've been searching for the possibilities in Animation in India,n finally i've opted for Animation over Engineering.

Now, after googling & blogging a lot i've come across almost all the available options in Animation in India & abroad, so now i feel the need to get some suggestions from experts who are already in this field.

It is a fact that in Animation no "Certification" or "Degree" is gonna take me anywhere, its only your work which will. But it is also true that in most of the institutes they only want to get the money out of us & lack in the quality of teaching & are not the correct place to learn animation. So m stuck with whether the "Colleges" are comparatively more Serious on the Teaching unlike the private institutes or not.

So i seek some Advice & suggestion on

1) whether to go for a College OR a Private institute for Animation?

2) which is d best College (like Picasso/Graffitti/MITID/Amity(Noida) etc.) / Institute (like Toonz/Maac/Arena/Animaster/Image etc.) to take?

(i live in Nagpur,here we dont have any college but we have all the institutes mentioned above.)

3) whether to relocate to Bombay or elsewhere & study from a college along with a degree which doesn't matter OR Stay in the city & do it from the suggested private institute?

4) whether to just refer the video tutorials (from JaysonRyan OR DigitalTutors) along with other sources available on net & study/practice on our own?

& lastly

5) whether to just go for Animation Mentor spending the relatively huge amount of around 6.5 LAKHS for Online learning...?

( The fee in institutes is around 1-2 lacks while in Colleges it is 4-7 lacks)

So to get more info on this i contacted a few local Insti's like MAAC n TOONZ etc. & talked to their students & they said that whatever is gonna taught in either an insti or a college is more or less the same,& they are just going to teach u the tools and the basics of 2d+3d,ultimately it all depends on ur individual work... then why spend 3 years to do it from a college when u can learn the same in 1-1.5years from any insti.(also the fee is 1/3rd, so along with the Insti course some Video tutorials (like Jason Ryan Animation)can be referred too)
